We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the basis for any statement of faith. The Church subscribes to the doctrinal statement of the Baptist Faith and Message adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention on June 14, 2000. We band ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ personally committed to share the good news of salvation to lost mankind. The ordinaces of the Church are Baptism and the observances of the Lord's Supper.

1. We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16)

2. We believe that there is one God; eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (John 1:1, 14, 18; Philippians 2:5-8)

3. We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ; in His virgin birth; in His sinless life; in His miracles; in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood; in His bodily resurrection; in His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and in His personal return in power and glory. (Isaiah 7:14; Isaiah 9:6; Romans 6:3-5; Romans 8:34; Revelation 19:11-21; Revelation 20:4)

4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinfal man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential, and that repentance from sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the only way to come into a relationship with God. (John 3:5-8; Romans 10:9-13; Ephesians 2:8-12)

5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. We further believe His power and gifts are available to believers today. (1 Corinthians 2:9-16; 1 Corinthians 12:1-13)

6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of live and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. (John 5:29; Daniel 12:2)

7. We believe it is important to uphold the Scriptural practices of the early church. Therefore, we hold to the practice of water baptism and the regular taking of communion. We do not believe that either of these practices is essential for salvation, but that they serve as a demonstration of our living faith in Christ. (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:15-16; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
